Position Summary- Mechanical Engineer with experience in design, selection and engineering of various types of Rotating Equipment for oil/gas, refinery, petrochemical and chemical projects. Equipment handled shall include centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, process compressors—centrifugal, reciprocating and screw type, gas/steam turbines and various packaged equipment.
- Projects handled shall include various stages including studies, brownfield upgrades, Pre‑FEED, FEED, Detail Design and vendor/construction support.
- Shall be a subject matter expert/SME with solid experience in developing engineering/procurement documents including equipment and seal selection, data sheets, technical specifications, material requisitions (MRs), technical bid clarifications, technical bid evaluations (TBEs), purchase requisitions and vendor document reviews.
- Thorough knowledge of industry codes including API and ASME Code is essential.
- Additional equipment knowledge such as troubleshooting, upgrade and modification will be preferable.
- Candidate should have ability to interact with internal Engineering/Design disciplines and client during the course of projects.
- Also need good communication skills, interpersonal skills, flexibility and ability to work under pressure to meet project milestones.
- BS or MS in mechanical engineering discipline is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Applications is required.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks as scheduled is required.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment is required.
