AV Specialist; Live Streaming

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the setup, maintenance, and operation of audio-visual equipment.
• Ensure all AV equipment is in good working order and up to industry standards.
• Collaborate with event planners to understand AV requirements for various events.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for external AV support when necessary.
• Provide on-site technical support during events, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Train staff and users on the operation of AV equipment.
• Assist in budgeting for AV needs, including equipment purchases, rentals, and maintenance.
• Monitor and manage expenses related to AV projects.
• Oversee the preparation and playback of audio and visual content for events.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of presentations, videos, and live streams.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols in all AV setups and operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and licensing.
• Supervise AV technicians and support staff, providing training and development opportunities.
• Schedule staff for events and manage workloads.
• Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and industry trends.
• Recommend improvements and upgrades to enhance AV capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., communications, engineering, or technology).
• Proven experience in audio-visual management or a related field.
• Strong technical skills with AV equipment and software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
• Experience with video conferencing systems and live streaming.
• Knowledge of lighting and sound design principles.
• Familiarity with content creation and editing software.
