The Accountant is responsible for full-cycle accounting, including client invoicing, VAT, payroll accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance with Saudi regulations, and timely support to management.
Key Responsibilities 1. Client Invoicing & Revenue Control- Prepare, review, and issue client invoices in line with contracts and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with ZATCA e-invoicing (FATOORAH) requirements.
- Maintain invoice records, revenue schedules, and client account reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts receivable, prepare aging reports, and follow up on collections.
- Calculate, reconcile, and file VAT returns via the ZATCA portal.
- Maintain VAT registers for sales and purchases.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi tax, Zakat, and withholding tax (if applicable).
- Support external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Process monthly payroll accounting entries.
- Reconcile salaries, allowances, deductions, and EOS provisions.
- Account for GOSI contributions and employee benefits.
- Coordinate with HR on payroll data, Qiwa, and Muqeem financial records.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll information.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with IFRS.
- Post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Perform bank, GL, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage petty cash and expense reimbursements.
- Review and process supplier invoices and payment requests.
- Ensure timely payments with proper approvals.
- Reconcile supplier and customer statements.
- Maintain proper supporting documentation for all transactions.
- Ensure compliance with internal finance policies and ISO 9001 procedures.
- Maintain organized accounting records (soft & hard copies).
- Support internal and external audits.
- Assist in improving accounting processes and controls.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 3–6 years of accounting experience.
- Head Office or corporate accounting experience preferred.
- Experience in consultancy, PMC, or professional services firms is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi accounting regulations and IFRS.
- Hands-on experience with client invoicing, VAT, and payroll accounting.
- Practical experience with ZATCA e-invoicing and VAT portals.
- Proficient in accounting/ERP systems and MS Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Professional communication and reporting skills.
