Electronics Technician 4 - Key West, FL with Security Clearance

Join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit where you will help design, engineer, integrate, operate, and maintain electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers.
Responsibilities- Install and maintain electronic security systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Lead large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
- Lead and document daily toolbox talks, ORMs, and safety audits.
- Maintain equipment per design packages.
- Program and install head‑end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV.
- Troubleshoot and isolate system and hardware failures.
- Conduct on‑site software commissioning and testing.
- Perform take‑off project drawings, inventory, and RFIs.
- Provide design assistance and feedback.
- Document daily reports and project progress.
- Communicate project and team issues to management.
- Create and manage project schedule.
- Integrate IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems.
- Forecast and manage project labor hours.
- Guide and mentor technicians.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Education:
HS diploma or GED; or graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program; or graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program. - 8+ years of electronics installation/maintenance experience; 3+ years focused on electronic security systems.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint (plus).
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
- Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom, Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows OS).
