Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Administrator Security Clearance

Position: Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Administrator with Security Clearance
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Administrator to join our team in Key West, FL. This position is on-site 5 days a week. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems

* Work side-by-side with the engineer to maintain and deploy VDI thin clients

* Work directly with SCCM/MECM to ensure patching/security compliance is handled and with the Service Desk department to troubleshoot issues with the hardware/software

* Keeping master image and pools update and secured. Implement patches, updates, and configuration changes in coordination with cybersecurity and IT teams

* Interface with the customer, gathering requirements and delivering solutions.

* Troubleshoot VDI-related issues, including user access, performance, connectivity, and software compatibility

* Monitor system performance and usage to identify bottlenecks or failure points and recommend improvements

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in relevant field. A degree can be substituted for additional experience.

* High School Diploma and 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor's degree

* Associate's degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required bachelor's degree

* A master's degree is equivalent to an additional 2 years of experience and a PhD is equivalent to an additional 4 years of experience

* 5+ years of direct experience supporting VDI environments

* 10+ years of overall IT experience in system administration or related technical roles

* Experience with VMware Horizon, Citrix, or other major VDI solutions. Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and networking fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree or PhD in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.

* FSLogix and/or Horizon View Client experience preferred

* VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Citrix Certified Associate (CCA-V), or related certification.

* Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.
Clearance Requirements:
* Must have an active Secret clearance.

* Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

* The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

* Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
