Banquet Server, On Call

Overview

The Hyatt Centric Key West is seeking an On Call Banquet Server to join our amazing team. The Hyatt Centric is centrally located within Old Town and a short stroll to the lively Duval Street.

Banquet Servers are responsible for set up and break down of event space & food and drink service at hotel banquet functions. Servers make sure function space is sanitary and visually appealing and they present the menu offerings for the event. This will include following event space set up, hygiene standards, linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service.

Servers ensure that tables, chairs, and banquet stations are set to the customer s expectations. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

The Banquet Servers receive service charges from each event worked. This is an on-call position and event opportunities will be presented to you each month. Servers are required to work at least 2 events per quarter.

• Prior restaurant, bartending, or banquet serving experience a plus
• Able to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight including banquet tables, chairs, bars, etc.
• Able to walk and stand throughout duration of shift
• Commitment to work at least 2 events per quarter
