Requirements: Must have at least 2 prior travel assignments, experience in L&D postpartum, nursery, Mother/Baby. Flexible to float to other units as needed.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, NIHSS.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases for Labor and Delivery patients, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The nurse demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, leadership, maintains clinical competencies through continuing education, delegates appropriately, and supervises staff delivering patient care.
