Our bartenders are dedicated to creating the ultimate satisfaction for restaurant guests by preparing and serving a variety of delicious alcoholic and mixed drinks according to established specifications.
Bartenders are highly knowledgeable of all company drink recipe specifications, measuring and serving standards, skilled at using Point of Sale information (POSi) and other restaurant systems, and flexible in responding to operational needs with a “can-do” approach.
- Performs all bartending, cash/credit-card handling, garnish, set-up, ordering, stocking and inventory, cleaning and sanitation work activities in accordance with bartending procedures, steps of service manual, IDPRP manual, and management directives.
- Observe guests and ensure full guest satisfaction by serving all alcohol and mixed drinks in a friendly and timely manner.
- Monitors guest behavior according to alcohol awareness procedures in order to prevent intoxication and follows all protocols in handling intoxicated guests.
- Maintains adequate supply of ice, glasses, and other bar supplies according to established requirements.
- Processes transactions using POS according to established procedures and training requirements.
- Greet and seat guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Provide detailed information about the menu, including daily specials and wine pairings.
- Take customer orders and ensure accurate and efficient delivery of food and beverages.
- Anticipate and fulfill guests' needs throughout their dining experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and dining area.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down bar areas and performing side work duties.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and server staff to ensure a seamless flow of service.
- Handle guest inquiries, comments, and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Knowledge of mixed drink recipes, measuring and serving standards, and bartending safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively engage others verbally.
- Ability to listen and speak in basic English in order to maintain effective communications in the performance of essential job functions.
- Ability to read and comprehend data sources, written work instructions, policies, procedures and other work materials in English in order to perform essential duties in accordance with safety, sanitation and operational standards and training's.
