Overview
Multi-disciplinary clinic offering outpatient and inpatient PT, OT, and Speech services to treat adult and pediatric orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and pelvic floor diagnoses. OSF Rehabilitation offers an environment for clinicians that is supportive in professional development and offers paid continuing education units, tuition reimbursement for further education, and 401k with $1 per $1 match on first 5% of salary. OSF will invest in you on day 1. Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1. This is in addition to our generous time-off benefits.
The Speech Therapist assists patients in the restoration or development of swallowing, speech and communication functions through evaluation and treatment.
ResponsibilitiesProvide speech-language pathology services within a multi-disciplinary clinic setting for adults and/or pediatrics. Assess, diagnose, and treat swallowing, speech and communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress. Collaborate with other clinicians to optimize patient outcomes.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Education:
Master’s degree - Licenses/Certifications:
Respective state temporary license with the supervision of a Licensed Speech Pathologist for 18 months - Respective state temporary license while completing Clinical Fellowship Year or respective state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Other Skills/Knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as Speech Pathologist
- Valid state driver’s license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor Vehicles driving record abstract
- Ability to administer and evaluate standardized speech/language tests, conduct swallowing evaluations, develop treatment plans and monitor progress

Additional Details- Base pay range: $39.13/hr - $46.03/hr
- Sign-on bonuses: $4,000 (1 year), $8,000 (2 year), $16,000 (3 year) with respective work commitments
