The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate greets customers courteously, maintains a clean work area, presents merchandise properly, and follows all company best‑practice standards. The Associate may be requested to perform additional tasks as needed.
Essential Functions- Understand and practice safe behaviors; keep a safe environment.
- Maintain sales‑floor awareness, clear egress, and report unsafe conditions.
- Treat customers and Associates with respect and courtesy.
- Assist customers at the register and throughout the store.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service calls.
- Represent and support the company brand.
- Perform cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, dusting, restrooms).
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the dress code.
- Perform daily store assignments: sizing, recovery, merchandising per best practice.
- Expedite new merchandise to the sales floor with brand familiarity.
- Apply Loss Prevention Awareness program and merchandise protection standards.
- Demonstrate integrity, safeguard confidential information.
- Follow Mark‑Out‑of‑Stock, cash, check, and refund policies.
- Execute store best practices with urgency and maximize productivity.

- Basic mathematical calculations common to retail environments.
- Use of all store equipment: PDTs, registers, PC.
- Stand, walk, and move around the store up to 100% of working time.
- Regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, stoop.
- Occasional push, pull, lift >25 pounds.
- Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, other supplies.
- Additional skills may be required for certain assignments.
- Stockroom shift: push, pull, lift >20 pounds.
