Location: The Laurels of Huber Heights, 5440 Charlesgate Road, Huber Heights, OH 45227. Some travel may be required to other SNF clinics within the region.

Employer: DaVita Kidney Care – DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services (DSD).

Retention Bonus: Experienced dialysis RNs are eligible to receive a $15,000 retention bonus after completing one year of employment.

Position: Registered Nurse, DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis (DSD) – Broadview/SNF environment; primary work schedule 3-4 days per week, 12+ hour shifts; no on-call requirement; training provided.

Training and travel note: Training includes a combination of classroom and hands-on learning; may occur at a facility or training clinic with a class of teammates other than your assigned home clinic.

In this role, you take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track. DSD RNs will troubleshoot, make sound decisions related to dialysis treatment, and occasionally partner with SNF staff to coordinate care. Other responsibilities include patient education and supervising Dialysis Technicians to meet program goals.

Direct Patient Care: Independently demonstrate best practice techniques and deliver optimal dialysis care. The RN may supervise Dialysis Technicians to meet capacity and efficiency goals.

Autonomy and Critical Thinking: Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting; use core nursing skills to assess, diagnose and implement care plans.

Education and Teaching： Conduct impactful education to patients and families in the SNF setting.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; minimum of 12 months RN experience
• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred or three-year diploma may be substituted
• Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
• Chronic Hemodialysis or Acute Dialysis experience preferred but not required
• PAID HANDS-ON TRAINING PROGRAM
