We are seeking a dedicated Dyslexia Tutor to provide personalised, one-to-one support for students in North Northamptonshire. If you're passionate about helping children with dyslexia unlock their potential and grow in confidence, we would love to hear from you!

• Experience Supporting Learners with Dyslexia: A tutor with proven experience using specialist, evidence-based dyslexia strategies.
• Personalised Teaching Approach: Ability to create a learning plan tailored to each child's strengths, challenges, and preferred learning style.
• Patience, Understanding & Encouragement: Someone who can build a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated and confident.
• Focus on Literacy

  Skilled in improving reading, writing, and spelling using multi-sensory and dyslexia-friendly techniques.
• Engaging and Flexible Sessions: A tutor who can adapt to the student's pace while keeping sessions fun, structured, and productive.

Plan personalised lessons and resources based on each student's individual needs (core subjects and/or life skills).

Deliver engaging sessions that promote consistent and meaningful progress.

Boost pupils' confidence using thoughtful, supportive strategies.

Manage challenging behaviour with patience and positivity.

Track and record progress, providing monthly reports where required.

Incorporate outdoor or nature-based learning activities when appropriate.

Use visual communication tools to support understanding where needed.
