This is a full entry graduate level role, meaning the first few months will involve huge amounts of training and development as you acclimatise to the world of sales and industry you're working in. This will involve enrolment onto an established sales training course.
Salary: £26,000 per annum (Basic Salary) / £36,000 OTE, including basic salary (Uncapped) + Car Allowance + Training
Location: 1 to 2 Days Working from the Office in Kettering and then 3 to 4 Days Out Meeting Clients

Job OverviewWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Graduate Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Executive with a technical mindset and a passion for B2B sales and business growth. As a Graduate Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Executive you will receive comprehensive sales training and development, including enrolment onto a structured sales training programme, building skills in lead generation, client acquisition, negotiation and closing deals.
The Graduate Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Executive will split time between the office and field sales activity across the Midlands, managing pipeline development, attending face‑to‑face meetings and driving revenue targets within a growing technical sales environment.
As a successful candidate you will join a market‑leading company with over 40 years of expertise, offering comprehensive training and the opportunity to develop technical sales skills in an established, growing industry.
Duties- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and contact potential B2B clients to build a strong sales pipeline
- Client Meetings: Arrange and attend face‑to‑face meetings to understand customer requirements and present technical solutions
- Relationship Management: Develop long‑term customer relationships to support repeat business and account growth
- Quotation Follow‑Up: Track, manage and follow up quotations to maximise conversion and revenue
- Sales Presentations: Deliver engaging product demonstrations of marking, coding and automation machinery
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor sales activity to achieve revenue targets
- Territory Development: Cover the Midlands region, identifying new business opportunities across multiple sectors
- Negotiation & Closing: Confidently negotiate terms and close deals to secure new business
- Degree in a technical, engineering or related discipline
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Access to reliable vehicle (suitable for business)
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage clients face‑to‑face
- Competitive, resilient and target‑driven mindset
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand machinery and automation solutions
- Organised approach to pipeline management and follow‑up activity
