Wehavebeenaskedtorecruita Production Directorforabusinessbasedin Kettering .
You’llberesponsiblefortheend-to-enddeliveryofmanufacturedproductsfromorderthroughtositeinstallation,ensuringthatproductionplans,contractstimelines,andinstallationschedulesarefullyaligned.
Workingcloselywith Contracts Managers ,thisroleensuresthatmanufacturingoutputsupportson-time,in-fullinstallation,minimisingdelays,rework,andsiteissues.
Whattheyneedissomeonewhohasexperienceofworkingina Seniorleadershiprolewithinmanufacturing(fabrication/metalwork)
Below is a small overview of the role;- Fullresponsibilityforallmanufacturingoperationsincluding
CNClasercutting,brake press/forming,machining,MIG/TIG/manualwelding,shot blasting,painting/finishingandassembly/fitting - Ensureproductionisdeliveredsafely,efficiently,andtospecification
- Balanceautomatedandmanualprocessestooptimisethroughputandcost
- Responsibleforcapacityandresourceplanningacrossallworkcentres
- Improvemanufacturabilitythroughearlyengagementwithdesignandcontractsteams
- Inputintocapitalinvestmentdecisions(machinery,automation,layout)
- Supportscalablegrowthofthemanufacturingoperation
- Leadproductionmanagers,supervisors,andteamleaders
- Ensure training,capability,andperformancemanagement
