EY345 Contract Supervisor

Location:

Kettering based, with UK wide travel
Salary: £35,000 + benefits package + company vehicle

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are seeking an experienced Contract Supervisor on behalf of one of our clients, to join a well-established industry services provider supporting water utilities and the petrochemical sector. The company specialises in media refurbishment and related field operations across the UK.

This role includes both site-based and office-based responsibilities, ensuring that contracts are delivered efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will be based near our clients Kettering Head Office and open to frequent travel across the UK, including overnight stays.

Candidates from an ex-military background are encouraged to apply, but all qualified candidates will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the execution of contracts on-site with a strong focus on health and safety compliance.
Manage site staff and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
Maintain communication with clients to ensure expectations are met and issues are resolved.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and seamless project delivery.
Track progress of ongoing works and report updates to senior management.
Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
Maintain thorough documentation and records for all site and contract activities.
Provide technical support and mentorship to site teams and contractors.

Qualifications:

Demonstrable experience supervising site-based contracts.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Comfortable using digital tools for project tracking and reporting.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable / Advantageous:

Telehandler qualification
Experience in the water industry
Recognised qualifications within the water sector or engineering
SSSTS and EUSR certifications
