Pharmacy Technician - Dispensary

Job Overview

We are pleased to offer an opportunity for an organized and highly motivated individual with the ability to think on their feet as a Dispensary Pharmacy Technician. They will require great communication & interpersonal skills, as they will be working with staff of all types and grades across the hospital and within our dispensary.

• Working with staff of all types and grades across the hospital and within our dispensary.
• Ensuring accuracy in all aspects of technical medicines management.
• Dispensing medications, screening drug charts, medicines reconciliation and patient counselling.
• Providing patient counselling and interacting with patients.

• Registered with the GPhC or working towards being registered in the next 6 months.
• Trainee Pharmacy Technicians completing their qualification within the next 3 months or this year.
• Entry level will be at a Band 4 (unless already Band
  5) – previous experience, qualification and accreditations will be considered.
• Candidates will be regraded to Band 5 once in-house progression programme is completed.
