History Teacher

Overview

Simply Education is working with a school in Kettering seeking a History Teacher to join their stable department. The position will be teaching key stage 3 and 4 History on a maternity contract until the end of the year.

• Teach key stage 3 and 4 History on a maternity contract until the end of the year.

• Eligible to work in the UK
• Ideally hold UK QTS
• Strong classroom management
• PGCE in Education is essential, although previous classroom experience would be considered
• A formal qualification such as a PGCE in Education is essential, although previous experience in a classroom environment would also be considered.
• Passion for teaching and education
• Creative approach to teaching
• Be flexible and adaptable
• Passion for supporting students in their learning
• Ambition and drive to become an outstanding classroom practitioner
• Excellent communication and lesson delivery skills
