PositionTransport Administrator is the role to join our team in Thrapston, Kettering, supporting our customer, Primark. Reporting to the Transport Team Manager, you will be responsible for general administration duties in-line with Transport legislation, company policy and procedure.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will be working Wednesday to Sunday from 22:00 to 06:00
.
Salary up to £27,000.00 per annum (+ £5k Night shift allowance), and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What Youll Do On a Typical Day- Assisting the Transport Team Manager with general administration duties in-line with Transport legislation, company policy and procedures
- Ensuring good standards of Health and Safety processes are followed by yourself and the team
- Regular communication with the planning department of any delays, lateness or issues
- Primary point of contact for customer enquiries/changes to schedule, ensuring these are logged accurately
- To be able to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Must have a flexible approach and be willing to carry out varied tasks positively, reliably and accurately
- An excellent team player, able to work on own initiative and make decisions
- A background in logistics is preferred, although full training will be given
