Registered Building Inspector Class 2A minimum;
Class 2A B D preferred.

Salary will depend on experience from £45,000 – £65,000.

Do you want a role without a load of legacy projects? This role is due to an increased workload and recognition that people need to travel short distances to manage their time. It has been well worked by a stable, qualified surveyor.

Are you concerned about KPIs, monetary targets and Business Development? You will not have any targets set that include any of this. You are expected to do what you do best, ensuring Building Compliance and regulations are adhered to.

Your role is to check plans and ensure building regulation compliance throughout the construction cycle through to completion. You will complete a series of site inspections.

Your site inspections will be around the Northampton area. You will not need to go to the office but there is an office nearby that you can visit so you can feel included in a team and have training when you want it.

You will never travel more than an hour from home.

You will complete 1 plan check and 3 or 4 site inspections per day, or you can choose to do all your visits in a couple of days if you prefer – you will manage your own diary to accommodate this.
