Position:
Personal Assistant / Care Assistant
Hours:
10 hours per week as follows;
Monday to Friday 9.00am to 11.00am (there is some flexibility around the start time – to be discussed and agreed at interview stage)
Rate: £12.21 per hour

Kettering (NN15 Area)
About the employer: A lady with health and mobility issues requires a fun, easy going, flexible Personal Assistant to support her in her family home.
Main Duties- General household tasks to include cleaning, washing up, cleaning windows, bathrooms, gardening etc.
- Driving to and supporting with medical appointments, trips out etc. Mileage will be paid (excluding commute).
- A manual wheelchair is used whilst out and about and the Employer will be required to be pushed.
- You must be a car owner/driver and hold a full licence. Business cover on your motor insurance policy is also essential (proof will be required).
- Support with general paperwork and home admin, therefore some computer knowledge preferred but not essential.
- To be flexible around daily needs and to be able to do things under own initiative.
- Any other task which the employer may reasonably ask you to do which falls within the scope of the job as a Personal Assistant.
- The Employer has a medium sized friendly dog and pet care may, very occasionally, be required. Therefore, you must be comfortable around animals.
- Must be a car owner/driver and hold a full licence. Business cover on motor insurance policy is essential (proof will be required).
- Some computer knowledge preferred but not essential (for general paperwork and home admin).
- Must be flexible around daily needs and able to take instruction; able to work with empathy while respecting the employer’s independence.
- Must be trustworthy, active with a good sense of humour.
- Please note you will be directly employed by the person (or their representative) that you will be assisting. The Council is not the employer.
