ABL Perpack is seeking an organised and proactive Admin & Sales Support professional to join its small but busy office in Northamptonshire. This full-time permanent role offers the opportunity to contribute to both administrative operations and sales support activities within a collaborative environment.

Role Overview

The role is primarily focused on administrative and operational tasks, including payments, supplier coordination, office management, and data entry. Secondary responsibilities include supporting the sales team with customer communication, document preparation, and occasional participation in trade events.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative (Primary)

  • Process supplier payments and manage basic purchasing tasks
  • Coordinate office supplies, bills, services, and general admin needs
  • Handle system queries, data entry, and document updates
  • Assist with logistics paperwork (delivery notes, PODs, invoices)
  • Maintain organised filing systems and internal records
  • Liaise with external providers, warehouse personnel, and service partners
  • Respond to customer phone calls and emails professionally
  • Support preparation of quotes, price lists, and routine sales documents
  • Assist with follow-ups and customer communication
  • Participate in trade events or meetings when required
Required Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn

    Ability to work independently in a small team environment
