Maintenance Laborer

Cape Fox Lodge is seeking a reliable and hard-working Night time maintenance laborer to join our outstanding maintenance team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction and maintenance tasks ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

• Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks, including framing, drywall installation, and painting
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings and facilities
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Load and unload materials and equipment, ensuring proper handling and storage
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and complete tasks on schedule
• Conduct inspections and identify maintenance needs in and around the lodge
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent
• Prior experience in construction or maintenance preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Valid driver’s license may be required
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more for extended periods of time
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
