Technician, General Facilities Maintenance - Food Equipment at Walmart

$19.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians! You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance for commercial equipment to support Walmart stores. You will develop preventative maintenance schedules and complete PMs in the timeframe outlined, and may conduct training for Store Associates regarding care and cleaning of equipment.

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (for example, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment)
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality
• Manage work orders and routine maintenance schedules by completing and providing required written and electronic information (for example, expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs)

• Food Equipment:
  Combi ovens, deli slicers, auto meat cutters, fryers, hot cases, ice makers, pizza ovens, rotisserie ovens, thermoglazers, donut cases, four bowl warmers, bakery ovens, bread slicers, tortilla makers
• Grease and Oil Systems:
  Oil/water separators, used cooking oil tanks

• Have previous maintenance experience (including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment, etc.)
• Understand the importance of customer service and have clear, respectful communication
• Drive personal accountability and use effective time management to meet commitments
• Adapt to changing priorities with solid judgment to identify what matters
• Believe in Servant Leadership and work well in a team

• 3 years' experience in maintenance
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clear driving record and ability to pass an MVR
• Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

• Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program
• Other related trade licenses or certifications as applicable
