Job Requirements / Qualifications Minimum 2 years full-time circulating experience in the Operating Room (perioperative/circulating RN experience) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA certifications required) CNOR certification preferred Previous charge experience preferred

Experience with a broad variety of surgical procedures (excluding heart, brain, and spine) Ability to float to the Surgery Center circulating role as needed First-time travel nurses with the required OR experience are welcome Must be able to work late shifts and participate in required call rotation Responsibilities Serve as the primary OR circulator, providing safe, efficient perioperative nursing care during surgical procedures Float to Surgery Center circulating role as needed to support surgical services Participate in call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Assist with a broad range of surgical cases (excluding heart, brain, and spine), coordinating patient care across the perioperative team Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and ancillary staff Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and specimen handling protocols Provide patient-centered care for diverse populations: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of perioperative nursing practice Experience the charm and hospitality of Kerrville while advancing your career in a supportive and collaborative surgical environment.
