Shift InformationThe position is full‑time, working in the Main OR of the hospital. Call required.

Acts as patient advocate during the perioperative period by implementing a plan to protect them from injury, wrong‑site surgery, infection and retained instruments. Coordinates the patient’s care between providers and hospital staff. Supports the patient’s physical and emotional needs while assisting the surgeon. Documents care provided accurately and completely, including interventions, equipment, and supplies.
Required EducationGraduate of accredited school of nursing.
Preferred EducationBachelor of Science in Nursing.
Required Skills- Basic computer keyboard skills
- Meditech Proficiency
Texas license as a Registered Nurse. Certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Licensure / Registration / CertificationCertified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
Preferred ExperienceOne or more years of circulating experience in a hospital Operating Room.
