DescriptionThis is a full‑time position with the option to work four 10‑hour shifts or five 8‑hour shifts. No nights, no on‑call, no weekends, no holidays.

The Outpatient RN obtains a health history on patients by telephone or during appointment. When a patient has an appointment, the nurse performs a physical assessment in addition to a history. Orders preadmission tests following anesthesia’s criteria and physician orders. Uses nursing judgment when deciding which charts need to be seen by anesthesia.
Required EducationGraduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred EducationBachelor of Science in Nursing.
Required Licensure/Registration/Certification- Texas license as a Registered Nurse.
- Certified in Basic Life Support.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Two years of experience as an RN in a hospital or outpatient environment.
Preferred ExperienceCritical care experience.
