This position is Full-Time, Monday–Friday 8am-5pm.

The Medical Assistant, under supervision of nursing leadership, supports provider practice by assisting with direct patient care duties. Performs diagnostic testing, maintains supply inventory levels, and cleans and maintains medical equipment. Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.

Required Education High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education Graduate of medical assistant program or military MA program.

Required Skills Customer service skills, ability to use telephone and computer.

Preferred Skills EMR (electronic medical record) experience. Basic ECG rhythm recognition or willingness to learn within 30 days of starting.

Required Licensure/Registration/Certification Current AHA approved Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course completion card – or receive within 30 days on job.

Preferred Licensure /Registration /Certification MA Certification preferred.
