This position is PRN (As-Needed), M-F 8am-5pm.

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides direct patient care services in accordance with the law and state practice act and as directed by a plan of care formulated by a Licensed Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist Assistant may also supervise and delegate appropriate functions to the Rehab Technician.

• Associates degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant

• Basic computer skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Basic organizational and time management skills
• Basic knowledge and skills to care for the physical needs of the population served

• Advanced skills/education in specialty areas of practice

• Current Texas license as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• BLS

• Work/educational experience in the healthcare field

• One year experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a health care setting

Good communication and collaboration within a care team; ability to work in an inpatient setting; strong patient-centered focus.
