This position is full time, working either five 8‑hour shifts or four 10‑hour shifts. Calling is required.

Responsible for assuring quality patient care by coordinating with the circulator in the planning and implementation of patient care in the OR. Maintains AORN and AST standards to ensure patient safety at all times. Assists the surgeon with gowning and gloving, draping of the sterile field and performing technical tasks.

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing Program

• CST and Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing Program

• Ability to read, write and follow instructions; strong organizational skills

• Meditech, faxing, scanning

• Basic Life Support

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support

• One or more years’ experience as a CST in a hospital Operating Room
