Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Lube Technician to perform preventative maintenance and lubrication services on heavy construction equipment. This role is critical to keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and job-ready. Ideal candidates have experience working with heavy equipment and take pride in preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine lubrication and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, haul trucks, and support equipment
  • Change engine oil, hydraulic oil, filters, and fluids
  • Grease equipment according to manufacturer and company schedules
  • Inspect equipment for leaks, wear, damage, or safety concerns and report findings
  • Maintain accurate service records and maintenance logs
  • Keep service truck, tools, and work areas clean and organized
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and job site requirements
  • Communicate maintenance needs to supervisors and mechanics

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a lube tech, PM tech, or equipment maintenance technician preferred
  • Familiarity with heavy construction equipment strongly preferred
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to identify potential equipment issues
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus, but not required unless noted)
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience with fleet maintenance software or service documentation
  • Knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems
  • OSHA 10/30 or MSHA certification
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or occasional overtime
  • Construction job sites and maintenance yards
  • Exposure to noise, dust, grease, and weather conditions
  • Safety-focused environment with required PPE
