Responsibilities- Demonstrates mastery of the responsibilities of a Shift Leader with enthusiasm and excellence.
- Lead shifts that focus on team engagement and guest satisfaction with a commitment to Make Fun Happen.
- Think strategically about maximizing product sales and waste management.
- Demonstrate a total store vision and take ownership of the store look and feel.
- Be knowledgeable about the day’s deployment and the roles and responsibilities involved.
- Use effective communication on the floor during the shift.
- Identify and address the needs of the team and guests before issues arise.
- Understand shift priorities and effectively communicate and delegate objectives and tasks.
- Takes ownership for the current shift and the subsequent shift.
- Ensure the team executes SOP and quality standards correctly and consistently.
- coach and provide feedback to team members to improve performance in real time.
- Train the team on role responsibilities, product knowledge and promotional items.
- Perform administrative tasks with integrity and to completion (e.g., bank deposits, inventory, store product orders, and other assigned tasks).
- Actively develop team members and discuss career and professional growth.

Required:
- At least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience or proper training/approval by Caribou Coffee to take responsibility as a Shift Leader.
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
The physical requirements for this position include hearing, speaking, seeing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for 4 to 8 hours, with or without reasonable accommodations.
