Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietitian to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct Nutritional Assessments:
    Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients  nutritional status to identify needs and risks.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans:
    Create individualized nutrition care plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide Education and Counseling:
    Offer one-on-one and group education sessions to patients and families, focusing on nutrition-related topics and behavior change strategies.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Progress:
    Regularly assess and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure effective nutrition management.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams:
    Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to integrate nutrition care into overall patient treatment plans.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor s degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field.
  • L icensure/Certification:
    Registered Dietitian status by the Commission on Dietetic Registration;
    Licensed Dietitian in the appropriate state.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Clinical Dietitian preferred.
  • Skills:

    Ability to complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Knowledge and skills to support patient education and engagement in self-care management.

What We re Looking For
  • Education:

    Bachelors in dietetics, nutrition, foods and nutrition, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Clinical Dietitian, preferred.
  • L icensure/Certification:
    • Registered Dietitian status by the commission on Dietetic Registration, required.
    • Licensed Dietitian in appropriate state, required.
  • Additional Skills (required):
    Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Knowledge, ability and skills to support patient education and patient engagement in self-care management to accommodate cultural diversity, age specific or behavior needs among the patients being served.
  • Additional Skills (preferred):
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to relay information to diverse audiences for one-on-one consultations, small and large group presentations; dynamic presence for media interviews, health fairs and other invited presentations/appearances.
