We are hiring for a Cash Applications Representative to work as a part of our Accounts Receivable team. • You will be responsible for posting payments, reconciling customer accounts and various reporting duties for management
• Process daily payment remittances (Checks, Wires, ACH, etc.)
• Perform daily reconciliation of cash application batches posted in our accounting software compared to the bank reports
• Process credit card payments
• Support collections efforts by completing research on cash applications per request of Collection Specialists and other collections personnel
• Complete all reconciliations and reapplications provided by Credit/Collections
• As needed, assist with generating regular reports to accurately track financial information
• Address payment issues such as double payments or other discrepancies
• Perform administrative and month end duties & support as required
• Provide audit support as requested
• Other duties and assignments as required by the department supervisor

We are looking for a results-driven, passionate, and focused individual who can provide first-in-class customer service representative of the values and culture for BLG. Additional requirements include:

• 2 years prior experience in accounts receivable and/or cash applications
• Ability to work independently and contribute to broader team objectives
• Ability to multitask and manage time amid multiple deadlines
• Superb written and verbal communications skills, as well as working knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  Microsoft GP knowledge is a PLUS, as well as experience in the trucking & logistics field
