Responsibilities- Drive profitability and customer satisfaction by enhancing revenue growth while consistently delivering exceptional customer service.
- Evaluate and schedule service work to effectively utilize manpower, maximizing profitability and operational efficiency.
- Develop, manage, and oversee departmental budgets to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Oversee the ordering and allocation of materials and equipment to ensure they are available for scheduled jobs.
- Schedule timely repairs and maintenance for parts to reduce job completion delays and ensure smooth operations.
- Engage in research and contribute to the marketing strategies of the department to drive business growth.
- Generate and review performance reports with management to monitor and improve departmental operations.
- Track and measure inventory, tools, and vehicle usage to ensure accurate records and efficient resource management.
- Instruct and guide crews on proper material use and ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Review payroll records to verify accurate and timely technician compensation.
- Ensure employees have access to the necessary tools, which are well-maintained and ready for use.
- Assist in the dispatching process to ensure the appropriate technician is assigned to each service request.
- Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate staff performance to identify training needs and provide on-the-job training and support.
- Assist the General Manager in identifying and nurturing future leaders. Manage and develop service staff, including hiring, scheduling, setting priorities, conducting meetings, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Available to work evenings and weekends as needed to support operational demands.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC service, demonstrating deep industry knowledge and expertise.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, gas piping, electricity, plumbing, and airflow.
- Proven ability in supervision, with strong communication, computer, and mathematical skills to effectively manage and optimize operations.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience to fulfill job responsibilities and travel to various locations as needed.
- Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.
- Ability to drive.
- Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces.
- Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
- The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow.
