Responsibilities:

• Perform general custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
• Clean glass surfaces and mirrors
• Perform industrial cleaning tasks, such as buffing floors and using floor scrubbing machines
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
• Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize work effectively
