Maintenance Technician | Kentwood, MI

Salary Range: $48,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Repair and replace defective parts, components, or systems to minimize downtime.
• Install and commission new production equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.

• Proven experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including proficiency with 480V systems, motors, and controls.
• Familiarity with PLC systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Adherence to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

• Experience with PLC programming and logic modification.
• Proficiency in welding (e.g., MIG, TIG) and metal fabrication.
• Machining experience (lathe, mill) for custom part creation or repair.
• Prior experience as a CMMS super-user or administrator.
