IT Manager - Kentwood Area

Salary Range: $94,000 - $141,000 depending on experience

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and factory floor operational technology (OT) systems.
• Ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, ERP, SCADA, PLC networks).
• Lead IT project implementations, such as new production software, automation integrations, or infrastructure upgrades.
• Oversee cybersecurity initiatives to protect sensitive manufacturing data and intellectual property, including OT environments.
• Provide technical support and strategic guidance to optimize IT solutions for production efficiency and business operations.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments that align with manufacturing goals.
• Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements for hardware, software, and managed services.

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and operations in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise with manufacturing-specific IT systems (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA, IoT).
• Demonstrated ability to lead IT projects, manage a technical team, and align IT strategy with business goals.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and their application in operational technology (OT) environments.
• Experience with network design, server management, and cloud solutions pertinent to industrial settings.

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or specific ERP modules used in production.
• Familiarity with Operational Technology (OT) environments, including SCADA, PLC, or DCS.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT, or smart factory initiatives.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS/OT security).
