About the unit

Our facility spans 2 floors with 165 beds, providing care for long-term residents and post-acute rehab patients. Nurse-patient ratios vary by shift and patient population. The unit includes a long-term care section and a rehab section, each with designated units focusing on specialties such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries, and cancer. Our mission is to offer goal-oriented, compassionate care to help residents live healthy and active lives.

About Rehab and Nursing Center-Kentridge

Located on a 10-acre campus, our indoor and outdoor spaces promote independence, strength, and confidence. We feature two main courtyards for outdoor activities. Most patient rooms are private, equipped with an attached bathroom, shower, television with cable, phone, and large windows. Each unit has spacious, accessible living and dining areas, and we provide a menu-based meal service.

Scope of work

Responsible for supporting staff scheduling processes, including communication with staff, executing schedules, and collaborating with team members on coverage for patient care. Assists with patient scheduling as needed, manages scheduling documentation such as block schedules and vacation calendars, and transcribes scheduling information accurately and promptly.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course
• CRT-Nursing Assistant certification from Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs within 90 days
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days
