Process Engineer - Kentwood Area

Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

• Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor process performance using statistical process control and other data analysis techniques.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and resolve production issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with process simulation software, CAD, and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex process issues and implement solutions.

• Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R)
• Experience with automation systems (e.g., PLCs, SCADA)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or demonstrated project leadership experience
