CA Warehouse Coordinator

Job Details:

• Title: Warehouse Coordinator
• Location: Greensburg, PA
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Duration : 2+ months
• Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
• Hours: 40 hours per week with overtime as required

• Responsible for ensuring that all warehouse functions are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Fill customer orders and deliver them to the delivery platform in accordance with company standards for safety, security, and productivity.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of all orders filled.
• Check outbound shipments for accuracy and readiness for customer delivery.

• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping and receiving documents and maintain records related to shipping and receiving activities.
• Verify that shipping and receiving counts match picking and purchase order documents and assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Collect and file all documentation for outbound freight and receiving paperwork appropriately.
• Pick orders for shipment as needed and ensure proper labels and paperwork are applied before shipping.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet required specifications.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight scheduling with the Warehouse Manager to align with warehouse capacity and operations.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Identify backorders and place merchandise in designated holding areas for expedited handling.
• Receive UPS orders and separate them into product categories for verification and stocking.
• Verify and recount orders received by others to ensure accuracy of incoming merchandise.

• Utilize the warehouse management system (WMS) to identify catalog number, size, color, and quantity of merchandise to be picked from designated locations.
• Pick customer orders accurately, ensuring the correct number and type of products are prepared for shipment.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently to transport products to shipping locations or delivery platforms.
• Stage orders in the correct sequence based on delivery requirements.
• Organize pallet items by hospital unit as required and repack or weigh orders requiring special handling.
• Maintain warehouse equipment by reporting damage or malfunction and connecting batteries to the recharge station at the end of the shift.
• Support overall warehouse security and safety practices.

• Place incoming merchandise into inventory.
• Conduct physical inventory counts as required.
• Operate forklifts to unload trucks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• General knowledge of basic subjects such as math, reading, basic accounting, and typing.
• Equivalent to a high school diploma.
• Prior experience working in a distribution center is a plus.
• Warehouse or operations certification is preferred.

• Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Maintain required attendance standards (Green Zone).
• Willingness to learn new equipment and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to comply with all safety policies and requirements.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

• Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards is required.
• Employees must provide their own steel-toe footwear and have it available on the first day of employment.
