Job Summary:

This position serves our customers by hand‑building pallets of product and loading product onto trailers according to established company and customer standards.

Pay & Benefits
  • Pay Rate: $22.16 training pay, $23.71 meet productivity, up to $29.96 with incentives

  • Day Shift (4 Day scheduled):
    Start time is 7AM

Responsibilities
  • Drive and utilize all company warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners) to select, pull, sort, and stack product, weighing an average of 45 lbs, within the warehouse and dock safely, according to company standards.
  • Work in a freezer and dry warehouse environment (freezer coats, hats, and gloves provided)
  • Handle products and build pallets according to established food safety procedures (e.g., visual inspection of the product for damages, proper placement on pallets to minimize cross‑contamination and damage).
  • Ensure the warehouse is maintained cleanly and safely according to company standards; take appropriate corrective actions when a spill or damaged case is discovered; dispose of trash and recycling in proper receptacles.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications Education
  • High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree
Experience
  • 6 months of previous warehouse experience preferred; or equivalent physical work experience in place of a degree.
Professional Skills
  • Knowledge of safe lifting procedures and food safety guidelines.
  • Skill in building pallets of products quickly, accurately and safely.
  • Ability to operate forklift and/or pallet jack and maneuver in tight areas.
  • Meet the minimum productivity levels established by the company.
  • Read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
  • Perform basic math functions (e.g., add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Solve problems.
  • Apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (e.g., safety shoes).
Physical Demand
  • Standing, walking, hand usage, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and talking or hearing.
  • Lifting and/or moving up to 50-90 pounds regularly.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to hot, extreme cold and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts.
  • Frequent exposure to high, precarious places.
  • Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The compensation range provided is in compliance with state specific laws. Factors that may be used to determine your actual rate of pay include your specific skills, years of experience and other factors.
