CRH manufactures and supplies a diverse range of building materials and end-to-end solutions for public infrastructure, commercial buildings, and residential homes. • Operate a commercial motor vehicle with a capacity of at least 26,001 GVWR to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete.
• Operate different aspects of the vehicle’s systems to alter, mix, or unload as required; may require use of automated routing equipment.
• Ensure safe and efficient delivery to construction sites as specified, obey applicable laws, and follow dispatch instructions.
• Maintain communication with the Dispatcher regarding deliveries; check delivery tickets for special instructions and complete as required.
• Frequently climb an 8-foot ladder to ensure proper materials are loaded safely and obtain required signatures.
• Rinse out the drum and handle 50-pound mixer chutes safely; dump slurry as required by established procedures.
• Record sales and delivery information; collect money from customers and provide receipts.
• Inform customers of new products or services and listen to, communicate about, or resolve service complaints.
• Respond to customer questions and complaints related to basic product knowledge and basic concrete instructions.
• Monitor gauges during operation, investigate abnormalities, perform operator maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain operator logs, forms, and records in accordance with company policy and Department of Transportation regulations.
• Complete written reports of problems or required repairs and forward to maintenance personnel; detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to supervision.
• Keep the work area and vehicle clean and orderly; perform daily inspections of truck equipment and supplies (tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, water).
• Be flexible with last-minute schedule changes, location changes, and shift changes; overtime may be required.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Support other projects and tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

• CDL Class B or better (Class A preferred).
• High school graduate, GED, or equivalent studies/experience (preferred).
• 2 years of related experience.
• Excellent communication skills; great attention to detail and stress tolerance.
• Safety-focused; willing to work weekends and extended hours.

• $22.50 - $26.79
