Job Title: Dispatcher

Location: Georgetown KY

Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday–Friday 3:30pm – 12:00am with overtime as needed

Training 1st shift 9:00am - 5:30pm

Payrate: $17.50

• Provide professional and courteous dispatch communications with Drivers and Customers
• Day-to-day management of assigned drivers. Which includes but is not limited to collecting necessary paperwork from driver to ensure day is complete and all other safety functions for drivers are managed
• Responsible for driver retention and coaching drivers
• Front line customer engagement. Which includes but is not limited to troubleshooting and problem-solving regarding issues associated with delays, inability to meet deadlines, breakdowns, and accidents
• Pick-up and delivery of all freight in the most cost-efficient manner
• Monitoring, coordination, and dispatch of routes via onboard computer in order to coordinate service and schedules
• Promptly respond to escalated customer calls regarding delivery concerns
• Timely documentation and reporting of incidents and accidents. Must coordinate with Safety department on all incident and accident procedures

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must comply with client's substance abuse & background policy
• Minimum of High School diploma or GED
• 2-5 years customer service experience
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent data entry skills
