• START PAY - $24.85 start, $1.15 per hour added for perfect attendance.

  STAGGERED START TIMES, SHIFT BEGINS AROUND 12:00 PM (NOON) THROUGH 10:00 AM NEXT DAY.
• DAY OF THE WEEK: SUNDAY MID DAY - FRIDAY AM.

This position is responsible for the operation of a commercial vehicle and hauling live birds to the plant for processing plant while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for the Live Haul Driver position only. The Live Haul Driver must be willing to pick up a trailer loaded with empty cages and transport them to the poultry farm.

Once on the farm the Live Haul Driver must be willing to unbind the cages which will allow the cages to be unloaded. Once loaded the cages are then filled and restacked and loaded back onto the trailer and the Live Haul Driver must be willing to binds the load of cages and transports them to the processing plant and drops the trailer at the live haul shed.

• Must pass both a hair follicle drug screen and a DOT urine test.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age and have at least one year of driving experience.
• Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL. Applicants must pass a background check before being placed in position. Applicants must have a clear satisfactory CDL record and meet all Tyson and DOT driving specifications.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours and complete the required log book. Must pass a DOT Drug test and physical and be subject to random testing.
• Must be willing to lift 40 lbs. occasionally and must be willing to work in and be exposed to outside temperatures and environment.
• Must be able to sit for 8 to 10 hours a day; must be willing to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend and stop occasionally.
