Position: Adolescent Treatment Team Leader

Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age.

Pay: $21.50 per hour, with a $0.50 increase after 6 months of employment.

Job Type: Full‑time

Shift: Flexible schedule required (may include nights, weekends, holidays).

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure a safe, therapeutic milieu by maintaining an active presence, providing support, role‑modeling, coaching, supervision, and guidance.
  • Maintain adequate staff ratios to meet client needs by filling in for shifts as needed.
  • Support co‑workers in all areas of residential care as needed.
  • Enforce rules, policies, and regulations of the therapeutic milieu.
  • Utilize and oversee the proper use of crisis de‑escalation interventions and physical restraining interventions in accordance with agency policy.
  • Serve as a role model demonstrating appropriate skills of therapeutic behavior management.
  • Ensure staff maintains high standards of cleanliness and safety in the milieu.
  • Comply with emergency and crisis intervention procedures and implement them calmly and expediently.
  • Seek to fulfill Holly Hill's mission.
  • Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a high school diploma or two years of college; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with vulnerable at‑risk youth.
  • Preferred: 1+ year of experience working with at‑risk youth in a residential setting.
  • Current and valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Typical Demands of an Adolescent Treatment Team Leader

Physical Demands: Requires sitting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, crawling and stretching. Requires eye‑hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, copier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Supporting therapeutic physical restraints of youth ages 12‑17 to ensure safety. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 35 pounds.

Requires some exposure to chemicals and solvents.

Mental Demands: Must be able to establish priorities, work independently, carry out decisions and tasks, resolve problems, make effective decisions, remain patient with youth, communicate effectively, handle public contact, exhibit good interpersonal skills, be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people, problem solve, pay attention to detail, and evaluate and assess situations, analyze and forecast data for better interpretation.
