- Interpret wiring diagrams, manufacturer’s installation or service manuals, blueprints, product drawings, plant layouts, order flow and all commonly used documents in the facility.
- Install, maintain, and repair equipment and machines as necessary (such as automatic controls and control panels, power or lighting service lines) with necessary fixtures and components to ensure proper operation.
- Measure, cut, align, thread, and assemble pipe, conduit, PVC (and similar items) for gas, electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and water process systems.
- Determine and trace cause of malfunctioning or improper equipment.
- Provide effective service repair and maintenance to electrical and mechanical equipment including rolling mills, furnaces, machine tools, and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and service duties such as repair and maintain portable power equipment, pumps, compressors, air and hydraulic devices, and other apparatus.
