Maintenance Technician - Rolling Hills Apts.

Monroe Group Ltd. is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Under the supervision and direction of the Community Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring the overall physical aspects of the community meet the established standards for safety, appearance, and operation within the budgeted financial goal, including, but not limited to, the interior and exterior of the building, plus all other areas related to the day-to-day function of the building and activity of the residence.

The role oversees outside contracts and vendors.

• Performing general maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, exterior structure
• Perform property and unit inspections
• Maintain the property curb appeal and general cleanliness
• Schedule and maintain the Make‑Ready Board
• Purchase materials and manage budget
• Ensure that maintenance teams deliver Safe, Decent, and Sanitary Housing to all residents

Winston‑Salem, NC

Pay rate up to $23.00 per hour. $500 sign‑on bonus and $1,500 retention bonus available.

• Previous experience in apartment/multi‑family maintenance
• English language proficiency (read, speak, and write)
• Ability to pass a full background check

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of maintenance technician experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair
• Experience in an affordable housing environment preferred
• Technical training and license preferred

$23.00 per hour
