Maintenance Mechanic

Walton, KY

Salary: $25-$30 per hour, first shift. Wage may vary based on experience.

Provides preventive maintenance, general servicing, repair and troubleshooting on all machinery to minimize interruptions in operations, extend asset life and ensure employee safety.

• Perform routine maintenance around multiple buildings such as minor structural repairs, wall repairs, door repairs, floor repairs, electrical repairs and HVAC troubleshooting.
• Repair broken or leaking plumbing
• Able to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues
• Able to troubleshoot HVAC system issues and coordinate repairs
• Able to repair & replace overhead door systems
• Able to maintain fire systems and coordinate maintenance and repairs
• Knowledge of roof repairs on shingled roofs, rubber roofs and ballasted roofs
• Applying preventive maintenance measures to all buildings to reduce risk of future problems
• Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an industrial environment
• Welding is a plus
• Self-starter: ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple tasks with little to no supervision
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations regarding safety
• Ability to reach, bend, climb and lift up to 50lbs; capable of working at various heights
• Willing to work overtime as required based on business needs
• Valid driver's license
