Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a State Facility in Boston, MA.

Job Schedule:

Thursday 3 PM - 11 PM and Saturday 11 PM - 7 AM.

Starting Pay: $21.35 per hour. Paid orientation, paid training, Daily Pay available.

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a government location by following security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Monitor entrances and restricted areas, verify identification and/or access authorization as required, and assist with visitor management and direction‑giving.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, and communicate notable information to Allied Universal supervision and site stakeholders.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
