As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver in Oregon, OH
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required per AU Driver Policy Requirements.
You will provide standout customer service, clear communication, and detailed reporting while supporting a caring, people-first team that acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and/or petrochemical setting.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, access issues, and/or suspicious activity through established communication and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, processing areas, staging areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
- Monitor access points and vehicle traffic for authorized entry, verify identification and/or credentials as directed, and assist with visitor management and delivery coordination per site requirements.
- Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts as needed.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
